CENTCOM chief not sure how long US troops to remain in Syria

Commander of US Central Command (CENTCOM), Gen. Kenneth F. McKenzie Jr., said he is not sure how long US troops will remain in Syria.

“I don't know how long we're going to remain in Syria,” General McKenzie said in a briefing to reporters late Friday.

“That's just not known to me. Ultimately, that'll be a policy decision that'll be made by national leadership of the United States as we go forward, based on the situation on the ground,” he added.

The CENTCOM chief said the US principal task in Syria “is to complete the defeat of Daesh/ISIS” to support the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), a rebranded version of the YPG/PKK terror group, “to root out and pressure the remaining holdouts of Daesh/ISIS.”

Trump, the president ordered them out in December of 2018. Clowns like this slow walked it, found work-arounds, and ignored him.

We don't control our government. Especially our intelligence apparatus.

Isn’t Syria a sovereign country? When did Pres Assad invite the US to occupy it?

How are we condemning Russia for doing exactly what we are doing, and Syria doesn’t even border the US?

Gee, if we actually had a defined goal in Syria, it might be possible to predict an end date.

What could go wrong.

Damascus is one of the few cities in the middle east that has a future survival rating of zero in biblical prophecy.

Until Biden needs a headline. Bin Laden’s body double survived in Pakistan for years until Obama needed a headline.

Trump said he’d end DACA on day one. What he says to voters and what he does aren’t always the same thing. If he wanted to leave Syria, we would have left Syria. Joe left Afghanistan, no ands ifs or buts, and wreckage ensued. That’s presumably why Trump prevaricated in public while leaving the troops in place.

So we have troops in harm’s way in Syria which we ignore, but we are supposed to be obsessed with these two pieces of the old USSR that can’t get along?

Well, if he doesn’t know, more than likely nobody knows.
That doesn’t do much to instill confidence.

He did end DACA on day one. And a Federal Court put an immediate injunction on him. It went all the way to the supreme court. They ruled that apparently Obama can make law with an executive order that is binding on all future presidents.
Obama can overturn things with the stroke of a pen. But Trump can only overturn Obama with an act of congress.

And Trump ordered us out of Syria. The Pentagram flipped him the finger, changed the classification of everyone there to some kind of trainer or another, and simply ignored him. Spin it however you want, but senior military leaders obstructed and flipped the finger to Trump throughout his presidency.

The most shining example was with Eddie Gallagher. At one point Trump pardoned him. The Navy continued persecuting him. He finally tweeted in public “it’s over”. They saud they did not consider it an order. And they still didn’t obey until utterly forced.

Then he came out with his tranny order. Mattis the homo slow walked it, and the head of the US Coast Guard simply announced he would not obey. Nothing happened.

Vindman was operating as a spy against Trump on the NSC. When this became blatantly obvious and he testified against Trump, complaining that Trump deviated from the script he had produced for a phone call, the Army did nothing and left him in place.

Milley was insubordinate during BLM, and was secretly coordinating with China and telling them he would gove them advance warning of any moves Trump was trying to make. He also colluded with Pelosi to illegally insert himself into the process and ignore any launch orders coming from Trump.

Or how about the USAF head of our nuclear forces in Canada publicly saying he would not obey an order from Trump to launch our missiles although he is NOT a voting member in the process.

Military treason abounded at the top levels during the Trump Presidency and only willful blindness would keep you from seeing that.
