What's the solution? Eliminate corporate welfare for the fat cats? Eliminate the laws that eliminate competition, including the NFL draft? Don't forget the free(NCAA) minor league farming system.
Don’t tell me you’ve quit. The money is coming in big time. If the NFL was in trouble they would not have the expanded playoff system carrying the season on into mid-February. It capitalizes on Black history month where black resentment comes more to the fore in preparation for March-madness.
And the players getting maimed? If OSHA stepped on to the field they would be obligated to shut the operation down totally. Where are they?
Mine was to cut the cord and get what I can on antenna TV. Then none of my money goes into this.

Sports fans get just what they deserve. I have no sympathy for any of them. As far as the NFL, if people are going to bend over and grab their ankles, what do you think the owners are going to do?

The solution is simple... and staring at you in the mirror.
You have the power to not buy what they’re peddling. All you have to do is kick the addiction.
The NFL and other pro sports, college sports are making zero dollars from me. Same for Hollywood. It’s been several years since I stopped watching TV or movies, and my enjoyment of life has improved significantly.

I can’t recall the last time I saw someone wearing a football jersey, pro or collegiate.
Corporations ruined sports.
Perhaps womens sports can save sports now that they have male athletes
If they offer no-interest two year financing they may sell more.
“What’s the solution?”
Here’s another solution that would work. You see, the players have their unions, the owners their exclusive club, but the fans just a bunch of dumb addicts.
Now if the fans were to organize and form their own unions, and call a strike against one of the teams (or all of them), what do you think would happen.
Of course that’s just a pipe dream - addicts are incapable of organizing themselves.

The NFLPA is a sock puppet for the owners. Republicans in Washington fight for their constituencies harder than the NFLPA fights for their players.

Look up John MacArthur’s series on the book of Galatians. Every time the addiction to seek out the National Felons League for entertainment, do a chapter— then find another book.
Then ask yourself, “Which pursuit is more valuable and fulfilling?”
