If a safe, effective vaccine comes along now, it has no chance of FDA approval due to big pharma’s death grip on the bureaucracy. We are so screwed.
You are assuming that the only problem with the current vaccines is the mRNA aspect. If you haven’t watched Rogan’s interview with Dr. Malone, you should. Though mRNA is a problem, he is convinced that the spike protein itself is the main culprit, especially for thrombotic complications. Novavax is pure spike protein.
Safe is a relative term.
For me a vaxx is riskier than the coof.

It's out there in certain places on the internet. Also one has heard rumors of helpful physicians who will prescribe them but you know how it is with rumors, gotta talk to the right person. So one has heard, anyway.

My suggestion is to carefully consider FReeper advice. There’s some advice that has been given on threads in the past that was wrong, including to delay a certain treatment which probably cost one FReeper her life.
Another example are threads where a FReeper has COVID and asks for treatment. In one thread, there were at least *THIRTY* recommendations for medications and dosages made to that FReeper. And there were disagreements between FReepers on correct dosing, etc. In other words, it was a joke.
Conclusion - don’t get any medical advice from FReepers unless you absolutely trust that FReeper. Again, free medical advice from almost all FReepers is worth every cent.
effective? against what, and for how long?
coronaviruses mutate. single-antigen vaccines by definition will only work until the virus mutates around the neutralizing effect of them. then other interesting things can happen instead. this would then get into safety.

Novavax is an old-school vaccine, not MRNA.
Word is it will be approved in the US very soon. At this point I don’t know who would be interested in it (other than for international travel issues), but if so that’s the way to go.
I suspect that, like with Iverwhatcit, as soon as an alternative to the fake/emergency vaxxes become available their “license” will be invalid.
Midterms are approaching. Politicos need campaign contributions and the taxpayer $$ to Pharm make that happen.
