A blank can be loaded with a more explosive powder, duplicating the recoil of a normal cartridge. From what I’ve seen, the executee simply slumps afterwards. No cleanup needed.

That is not true. The casings are already full to the brim. (I reload) Any other propellant would explode the rifle.
