The mention of the role of tonsils in fighting Covid was of interest to me. My spouse and I take vitamin supplements and did not take the so called vaccines. I had a mild case of Covid during the Delta spike in 2021. My spouse has not experienced any Covid symptoms. My tonsils were removed as a child because I had frequent sore throats. My spouse has tonsils as does our adult child who has shown no Covid symptoms and chose not to take the vaccine.

Of note my spouse and child rarely get sick. I usually experience at least one bad cold, or bout with the flu each year.

A quick internet search indicate tonsils are still being removed frequently in childhood. Some of the articles repeat the claim the tonsils perform no function in adults. This claim, by doctors, is the reason my parents agreed to my tonsillectomy.

Perhaps medical science should take another look at the role of tonsils in fighting disease through the entire human lifespan. “Settled science” may be resulting in the removal of a critical component of the immune system in childhood.

Interesting point about the tonsils.

How many people have had them removed because the Drs thought they were the cause of colds etc?

I had colds every month when I was a child, and had a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy.

Turns out the cause of the colds was a milk allergy.

Needless to say, when covid started going around and Zelenko came out with his protocol, I got on the supplements C, D, zinc, quercetin, etc.

My tonsils were removed at age 4. I was never vaccinated for anything except for smallpox. That was because my dad had the disease as a child. I was never sick throughout school. I caught my first childhood disease, chicken pox, from my daughter at age 27. Not a good experience. I’ve had some colds but never flu. My wife has her tonsils and she usually gets sick a couple of times a year. But until February 2022, we were healthy and unvaccinated. Despite taking extra C,D3, Quercetin, and Zn, we both caught something. We refused to get tested so they couldn’t count us and took the ivermectin protocol anyway. Lasted about 10 days, never really badly sick. Lingering cough though. Tested negative for Covid antibodies while still coughing.

Take away. The body is a complicated machine and unless you’re an identical twin or clone, every one is different.
