Oh man. He was always on the radio talking Seahawks (and other teams) on the local show. I didn’t realize he was national. He was a very smart guy and very perceptive and good to listen to. Perhaps he died of a broken heart with Russel and Bobby leaving? (I have not been listening to much radio lately, but I imagine he had some very smart, non-emotional words about how “this is the right time to move on...this benefits everyone...etc.)
Well, I guess John was surprised:
“I never thought a Russell Wilson trade would happen by the Seahawks. That caused me to debate anyone who thought it would happen. Trading him takes away a Hall of Fame quarterback and one who could get this Seahawks team back to the Super Bowl. Well it happened. I was wrong.”
