Not exactly pertinent to the subject of your post....but.....PS teachers are quitting in droves; early retirements, changing professions. There’s going to be a crisis in the next school year. Wait and see.

When they start calling on the literate to teach reading and the numerate to teach math, and give up on rain forest studies and prepubertal interpersonal relations for lack of instructors, then we’ll be almost there.
