I must have missed that part in the Bible. Society may have “evolved” since Biblical times, but that doesn’t change the matter. Any “rights” that we may benefit from today does not mean that we are entitled to them.
If God, through the governing authorities (which, according to the Bible, he has established), has granted a right, how can we be justified to disobey if those same authorities decide to revoke this right?
