Yea, I figured, just having fun with them...but what the hell was this dad thinking!!! As to starting a kitchen fire, I’ve come close enough, and I was far older than 13. The fact it burned down a house is what happens when you do start a fire.

Leaving something cooking on the stove at our age means we are getting senile.

At 13 year old boy doing it means he's not responsible enough to be cooking (at least without supervision) much less driving a truck.
