Schlanger is using the conspiracy theory trick to keep a conspiracy fresh by rewriting current events into it. He is just rewriting LaRouche's Rothschilds-Rockefeller-British conspiracy into the Great Reset, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and anything else he can fear-monger about.

The Russian leadership have stated their opposition to NATO expansion before the USSR collapsed. By Schlanger's own admission, The Great Reset was conceived around 2008, roughly 20 years later. He is projecting his own ideologies onto Putin to use the invasion as a soap box to preach his own beliefs. I think Putin more important things on his mind for the last 30 years than to read fringe American economic-political theory.
