Let him object. Allow a UN buffer demilitarized zone between Russia and Ukraine. 10 miles inside the border in each direction. Patrolled by UN blue helmets. Keep the zone for about ten years then reduce the patrol zone by 1 mile per year until there’s no blue helmets on either side.
