Who would you rather hang out with, if you had to make a choice? The AZOV people, or the Muslims that the Russians are importing to fight for them?
I’ve seen various numbers for AZOV brigade size from 900 to 2,500. Since the AZOV’s readily identify themselves with patches and such, why aren’t JUST the AZOV’s targeted if that’s the righteous reason the Putinistas are convinced the invasion is about? 1,000 to 2,000 neo-nazi’s isn’t a whole lot when the population of Ukraine was in the millions. Not to mention they WERE in one place before. Should’ve been pretty easy to “liberate” the country from 1,000-2,000 neo-nazi’s in one area. But for some reason Russia invaded the whole country, targeting civilians. My guess is that you’ll say that:
1. It’s the Ukrainians killing their own people
2. There are AZOV’s in every closet of every building in Ukraine
3. All Ukrainians are nazi’s
Finally, why must the Kremlin keep an iron fist on its people and press, not allowing terms like “war” or “invasion” to be used, if the goals of Putin are altruistic and righteous?
This sweaty, slobbering, sexualized, gobbling up of one singular conspiracy idea (a la Alex Jones) on the Right, by so-called “conservatives” is absolutely mind-boggling and makes me question the intelligence of the conservative movement in regards to the founding principles.
