Good. This can be a precursor to China shutting off the US market and if so, I appreciate their help in forcing American industry to make things again.

I was following things when the covids started up in China and figured it would be coming our way.
History going to repeat, esp. with Dems running things now - or will they be too afraid to try it as we near the next elections.
Shenzhen is right on the border with Hong Kong.
Thirty or more years ago, I recall telling one of my buddies (who was totally enthralled by the Chinese), that we would come to regret Nixon’s “opening up China.”
Nixon and his entourage hoped (now proven to be futile) that the Chinese, wanting to participate in the joys of the FRee market and capitalism, would abandon Communism.

People are still allowed to die in Hong Kong, but not in Mainland China. Official death toll still 5,000 for the whole pandemic, last I saw.
