I got to see Hall & Oates in 1976 at The Tower Theater and Todd Rundgren there in 1974. A great time in Philly music. I lived just a few houses from Grover Washington Jr. A constant who’s who rolling in and out of his driveway. Back before limousine entitled bunches.

The live opening for the Bigger Than Both of Us tour by Hall & Oates left the audience wowwed. Nothing like it had ever been constructed like that in music up to that point. The recorded studio album doesn't do it justice.
Abandoned Luncheonette and Bigger than both Of Us, are to me the best of their work ever.
