I expressly stated: On non-controversial topics, (e.g., on Lyme Disease, or when looking for orbital data on the planet Pluto), one can consult Wikipedia.

Agree and on most STEM related topics its not too bad at least as a kick-off point for information. APGW and anything enviromental are the notable exceptions.
