That “true information” thing can be amazing. Over the decades I’ve known people who lived In Europe during WW II. Some of them still thot Germany won the war and that we OWE THEM something. Some of them even went back home in their late years to get free health care and a free gummint burial. But they took the money they made here with them. The worst ones were the ones who left family behind there to occupy the property that they were squatting on after the Jewish owners were hauled off-—still going on.
