My brother in law was a Croatian. He and his countrymen, or so he said, had a passionate hate-on of Serbians. I never figured out why for about 30 years. With the onset of the internet, and the Bosnian war, I began studying.
Prior to WW 2 the Serbs and Croatians only difference was Serbs were Orthodox and Croatians were RCC. As Hitler began ramping up for war, the two sides got together in Serbian territory with their generals and many troops to form a single army.
The Croatians had schemed with Hitler, turned on the Serbs, and began slaughtering them. The Croatians completely caught the Serbs off guard and many of them were killed, including their leading General. For the rest of the war, the Bosnias were on the run fighting with the Allies, while the Croatians ran with the Nazis and did as many in Ukraine did. Set up concentration camps and killed Americans, British, French and Soviets. I now knew how devious some people and countries can be. IMO, that includes modern day USA.
The point being, under Clinton we turned on THEM, when they were being attacked by the Mooslum SOB’s, and pretended that Serbians were killing people en masse for no reason. We found out that the “mass graves” really weren’t that massive. We also found that those in Kosovo were more prolific in killing civilians, as Muslim terrorist bastards are prone to do.
Flip forward to GW Bush, and we once again flip sides, and search allies against terrorists and Muslims.
Under Obama, we then began partnerships with Islam, and fought against moderates like Assad and Khadaffy.
The only thing predictable is that the US foreign policy is unpredictable.
IMO, if the DS had not went after Trump with a raging hate on, Putin and Russia would now be allies with us in fighting the main enemies, Terrorism and the CCP.
