Troubling video showing an off-duty Kenosha cop putting his knee on the neck of a 12-year-old girl while breaking up a fight at a middle school has sparked fury in the Wisconsin city where Kyle Rittenhouse killed two people in the wake of the police shooting of Jacob Blake.
The 17-second viral clip shows the officer trying to separate two girls before he was knocked to the ground by the sixth-grader in a rainbow sweatshirt in the cafeteria of Lincoln Middle School last Friday.
He then scrambles to his feet and restrains the pre-teen by putting his knee on her neck, a move that quickly brought back memories of the confrontation that led to the death of George Floyd.
It is unclear from the video how long the cop kept his knee on the girl's neck.
Civil rights lawyer Ben Crump, who represented the Floyd's family, as well as the families of Blake, Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor, has demanded swift justice.
'An off-duty Wisconsin police officer placed his KNEE into a 12-year-old's neck after she was involved in an altercation w/ another student!' he tweeted. 'We KNOW just how dangerous this incident could have been, yet the officer has NOT faced any repercussions! He needs to be held accountable!'
The Kenosha Police Department would not release the cop's name but confirmed he is 37 years old and has been on the force for four years. The KPD has not revealed any disciplinary action against the officer.
'K.P.D. has seen the video clip and has seen the photo which has been widely shared on social media over the weekend,' the department said in a statement released Monday.

If she’s neither injured nor dead, there’s nothing to be held accountable for. Restraint in such situations is not illegal.
At 11 I was pretty much adult sized. Not overweight, though. Twelve is past puberty for many females. Full grown.

It’s all that equality propaganda. It’s those carefully choreographed fight scenes in movies where petite women land a cross hit to a 260-pound man, his head snaps back and he goes down like a sack full of weights. (Hint, if he didn’t snap his head back and she landed the punch it would shatter most of the bones in her hand.) All of this has been bad for society and especially bad for women. We can only hope none of them try to immolate any of that stupidness. But one of the telling stats for how successful this anti-woman propaganda has been the steadily rising percentage of women in prison. How’s that for success?

They should have a black female officer in that school to stop these small “queens”.
1. What does Rittenhouse have to do with this? Nothing.
2. If Rittenhouse is to be cited it should be:
"...in the Wisconsin city where Kyle Rittenhouse killed two people in self defense..."
“If the sixth-grader knocked him to the ground first (did they say it was on video?) then it’s self-defense.”
If that same cop would punch your ticket for doing what he did then it is not self defense.
There are a 100 different ways ways to do it. A simple arm and wrist lock will do it. The only way to fight through it is to dislocate your own arm.
That departments needs better training.
