I believe that the motor torque is only unbelievable from a battery. These batteries supply unbelievable levels of current, at least for a while. Generators, not so much.

I dunno, freight trains seem to do okay. Can’t tell me that they don’t have heavy torque needs.

I am and have been an electrical engineer for 35 years. TRUST me— generators can produce TREMENDOUS currents. You just have to design them to the task.
