I was thinking about the Keith Chapman version on the Wanamaker organ today.

Both the ELP and the Chapman vinyls came out in 1976, and we decided to use Promenade for our 1976 wedding processional, and Great Gates of Kiev for the recessional.

The only problem with GGK in the present conflict is that its composer was 100% Russkie, the Mossourgsky family being one of those close-to-the-Tsar types.

Have you told Mr. Wanamaker about these obscene thoughts?

As a long-time pianist/organist for many weddings - What a great idea for processional/recessional music! We used music from Handel's Water Music, etc.
