Since the internet really started taking off the number of global stations that have gone off the air is enormous.

In fact this year is the last year they publish the WRTH.

I have a small digital shortwave radio which is almost useless because there aren’t many stations broadcasting. I can go up the ham bands and listen to call signs and, I usually copy CW.

That's truly the end of an era. I remember anxiously awaiting for the latest Popular Electronics, because they would have the updated Frequency lists for the Shortwave Stations.
