It really doesn’t make sense, I agree.
These sort of advanced aircraft sales or transfers take a lot of time and planning.
To me it’s a planned grift for the big guy’s 10%.
I was on the ground but knew many back in the 90’s.
I would set their scoring zones up. They were all rookies but sometimes an ace would come in.
Anything within 25 meters was a definite kill.
No tracking allowed. It was real time. I used triangulation with survey disks from 1927 to process their hits.
It was all good.
BTW those few aces were within 10 meters or less.
They loved going to the Flag races at Nellis.
