Yes, it is "appalling", but what of it? Is Trump saying to go to war over the Ukraine? NO! He just says that better US leadership would have prevented Russian invasion of the Ukraine.
That is separate from the propaganda and sob stories and pro-war rhetoric in the US by Ukrainians and their agents.
By the way, have the Vindman twins gone home to Ukraine to help defend their precious homeland? I bet not.
