Excellent. I speak decent Hungarian, and these encounters give me a chance to practice. I usually accompany my statements with random, yet complicated, hand gestures. So a good time is had by all.

yep - I go with “sprechen sie deutch?”, one of the few German phrases I sorta remember, then get louder with more and more made up German sounding words as they keep trying to tell me in English.
The kids think its hysterical. +1 for Dad.
