Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) doubled down on his call for Russian President Vladimir Putin to be assassinated in the wake of Moscow’s military invasion of Ukraine during a Monday interview with TMZ.
INTERVIEWER: You’ve been courageous in calling out Putin when many people want to say it but haven’t said it. Have you been surprised by the feedback that you’ve gotten from it?
SEN. LINDSEY GRAHAM: Yeah. I think most Americans understand that Putin is a war criminal, and the sooner he’s gone, the better. The only way this ends in a sustainable fashion is for the Russian people to take him out. I’m not asking for American boots on the ground, but I want to help Ukraine with military assistance and equipment. Putin’s gotten away with murder for 20 years. Enough is enough. He’s got to go.

This is Graham's signature grandstanding. He doesn't believe his own B.S. and he will not shut up either.
No it isn’t Linda.
Think out of the box.
Provide Ukraine with the “Iron Dome” (like Ukraine requested in Nov) and set the limits west of the geographically disputed areas of Donbas and East of the river.
Negotiate from there.
This would provide a “no fly zone” without a NATO country having to provide aircraft.
The military would be his replacement…without a snap election

I’ve never liked Linda Graham, but I never thought that the man was stupid until now. To call for someone’s assassination — anyone’s — is just so far beyond the pale and borderline criminal. I guess that the man is counting on never visiting Russia in any capacity, as part of a Senate delegation, presidential administration etc., because I assume that he’d be arrested upon arrival if he did.
This idiot is trying to get us all killed. Come on South Carolina, I know you can do better. Only Utah has been more disappointing in what we get vs what we should get considering the state’s political makeup (dishonorable mentions for Montana and West Virginia too).
