In my younger, dumber, sleeping days my husband and I were Democrats(ugh). Since 2001 and the start of our awakening, my husband has said many times that the two parties are just the two sides of the same coin playing the American people while gaining wealth and power for themselves.
Until about 2008 I was still deluded into thinking that the Republicans were not as bad as the Democrats. The O’bama-McCain race was a real eye opener for me.
