If the plaintiff can prove what was being done on the set was inherently dangerous, for example a requirement to point guns at people in order to film a scene, then they might not have to prove negligence at all. They might get a judgement under a strict liability rule.

from what i remember reading about this, this scene wasnt alec pointing at any other actor, it was to be a camera shot of him drawing at a person you can’t see, off-screen.
