Noting excuses Putin’s war against THE PEOPLE OF UKRAINE.
Nothing about the “bankers” in the article meets any of Putin’s demands - they are not on bis complaint radar.
If Putin did not really want Ukraine to consider joining NATO, all he had to do was treat it like a good neighbor, be cooperative instead of belligerent with it, quit trying to install his puppets for leaders in Ukraine, treat it with the same territorial respect he want Russia treated with, and Ukraine would not have seen Putin as a threat needed consideration of NATO.
But, from 2000 on Putin’s attitude toward the nations in the “near abroad” has shown that to Putin the old Soviet Union and Imperial Czarist Russia were two titles for the same country, mother Russia, and instead of stepping out as a new modern democratic country, Putin thinks his messianic goal is to revive the Russian empire.
OK. IIRC, Captain Obvious once noted that "An attack on some other country is not an attack on the United States." And people who support any American response that risks World War Three have as many cognitive issues as Joe Brandon...
