My friend, who is a gun dealer, went to China for a holiday. Unbeknownst to him, there was one bullet that had fallen in the lining of his luggage when he was attending a show earlier that year. Well, the Chinese found it and send him to jail. I don’t remember how long it took, but his wife had to come back and work it from this end.

Too many people fail to realize or ignore the fact that many nations DO NOT have the liberal attitudes we in the West do towards drugs.

A fact that people might want to consider before they travel overseas.

Most of these nations with strict laws about narcotics have much lower crime rates too......

That happened to me once in Mexico. I inadvertently had a full mag of 38 Super Auto JHP. Luckily I literally had a book on the life of Pancho Villa in my bag, right on top, and Mexicanos like Super 38, and a Mexican Army Lieutenant decided I must be ok guy for a gringo. Let me go, didn’t ask for a bribe, even gave me back the mag and ammo (which I disposed of post-haste, as soon as I was outta sight)
The Mexican Army sure did right by me, that’s all I’m gonna say.

I feel like I used up a lot of good luck and karma that day.
