You do realize that the Ukraine has been part of Russia for several hundred years

And, Israel was part of some other county, depending on the era, and the U.S. belonged to the "American Indian" or the continents original inhabitants. So, should we consider that, the U.S. belongs to other people, and that Israel has no right to exist? Hey, the Mexicans would like to have Texas back, and we need to toss in California.

Boundaries are redrawn all the time, and what we know of the world maps today, are likely not what they were hundreds of years ago.

The Ukrainians have been free of Russia for many years now, and they certainly don't feel Russian nowadays (excepting for a small part of the population). So, who the heck are we to tell them to suck it up and go back to 'mother Russia'?

The Ukrainians have been free of Russia for many years now.

The Ukrainian regime directly before the current one was a Russian Puppet. They have been free of that Regime since 2014. With George Soros’s, the Clinton Foundation’s, Obama’s, our own intelligence agencies, and the Biden family’s assistance they managed to get a new regime that was actually more corrupt than the puppet regime. The damage done has resulted in the current conflict. The “big guy” Joe Biden himself shares plenty of the blame.

You bring up Texas... I assume that we would not allow this to happen in Texas, but Ukraine has been under control of Russian governments since 1648. Texas has been under control of the United States since 1845 approximately two hundred years after that.

Russians have considered people from the Ukraine to be Russian for hundreds of years. This is basically a family squabble that we have no business in. But like it or not we are in the middle of it largely because of the corrupt US politicians and intelligence operatives involved in the recent regime change.

There are no accidents in this type of event. $10 a gallon gas is not a consequence; it is a planned event. My guess is that this is largely political show on both sides to line insider pockets.
