Bought a 33 1/3 record player, now just need some speakers…..gonna be rockin’ 🙃
ATT sent me a free upgrade to 5G phone about 6 months ago, said mine wouldn’t work much longer. Just a basic Apple OS type device. I never used it since I’m Android. I bought a new Android and smashed the free phone and put it in the recycle bin. At the suggestion of ATT, the destruction of the phone I mean.
At least when using AT&T's network, you now need a phone that supports 4G plus VOLTE (voice over LTE), not just 4G.
I got an Apple 6s and it is working fine.
And don’t put leaded gas in your car anymore either since you can’t find it and will clog the cat and burn up 🤪
Have you contacted the national media with this breaking news?
Verizon bought Tracfone.
Thanks, I was waiting for someone to confirm that.
I don’t think that 4G tracks and spies on you as much but I’m not sure.
Only solution is a Faraday bag.

No. But only because I didn’t post it in Breaking News. I posted in in Chat, kinda as a heads-up to other folks who still have 3G cell phones.
And you can’t take the battery out of them.
And it supports VOLTE.
Of course. That explains everything.

$60 for an adequate phone, 1 year of service, 1500 Min talk/1500 Texts/1500 MB Data
Well, crap. I just purchased this exact phone yesterday at Wal-Mart for $80 WITHOUT the minutes/texts/data! Just transferred my Tracfone number over to it this evening.
So 4g can track you. But its just 4G to the tower or network. 5G will take in and pass along input from anywhere. So your fridge can pass to your phone or network. They were putting internet connections in everywhere but most people did not connect them. With 5G you don’t have to connect them. They can connect themselves and pass along anonymous information.
And remember to stop it you need to take your battery out. Its not good enough to use airplane mode or turn your phone off. Your phone will always be working until it can’t. Your phone will always be listening and keeping track of where it is, whats around it. When you turn it on again, it will sync up and tell the base where it as been while off.
Thanks for that link!
Remember the link for next time you need a phone, and watch for sales. I usually buy a new one once a year just because replacing the phone with the air time is about the same price as (or less than) just the air time. The last time I got a Samsung A51 for $109 - a little more than the air time, but it’s a pretty decent phone. The camera is much better than previous ones I’ve had, and it has 128 GB internal memory. (I think it’s back into the $300 range now.)
Thanks.
Still have my 3G for now, then I’ll upgrade to 4G + Faraday bag.
My GPS in 2014 Nissan has reverted back to old maps…I hate it! Need to find a new after market fix.
