After familiarizing myself with Cricket, I came to the conclusion it takes a lot more skill to be a good Cricketer than to be a good baseball player.
A good Cricket batter cannot make a mistake in a period of about an hour and a half, if he wants to reach a “Century” (100 Runs), which most teams will require at least one of their batters to get a Century if they want to win the match.
He was a heavy smoker and I believe also an alcoholic.
Knowing Cricket helps me to make friends with the Indians I work with in IT. My neighborhood here in DFW has a lot of families from India, and I see the kids playing Cricket with tennis balls in the street. I sure as hell don't see American kids playing baseball in the street anymore.
I don’t even see kids riding their bikes around anymore.
They’re all just stuck in front of computers, playing mind-numbing shoot-em-up games.
At 7:25 That’s just savagery !
