I’m hoping Cornyn was defeated. I voted against him.

I hate to break the news to you FRiend, but Cornyn's not up for reelection until 2026.

From the early results, R’s had 800,000 total votes, D’s 600,000.

Cornyn is a US Senator, not Congressman. He will not face another primary until 2026.

I did my part and voted for O’Hare.
Price is a RINO.
I voted against Abbot.

My polling place was easily 10-1 heavily Republican voters. We stood in lines. The Demonrats had none.

Early Texas voter here. Usual minimal crowd when I was voting. Voted West in primary for Gov. but no question it will be Abbot against light-weight Beto. Voted Louie for AG knowing he didn’t stand a chance, but now will hope it’s Paxson vs Guzman so we are once and for all done with the Bushes ! Dan Patrick will remain Lt. Gov. which in Texas is arguable more powerful in Tx politics. I’d guess Beto goes down 60-40 as we still have too many idiots in Texas and more are moving in from Ny and California!

Like me, I think many folks took advantage of the two weeks of early voting. On 2/22/22, my voting spot was very busy at the GOP machines.

It’s George P in the runoff vs Paxton.

Yes, George P pulled off second, First Loser ! It may be a tough run-off but let’s hope Paxson takes it and continues as AG as he fights Biden’s administration daily!

Had Louis Gohmert not run, Paxton would probably avoided a runoff. I don't know why he left Congress to campaign for the Attorney General position. He was a stalwart conservative in the House of Representatives.
