Unmotivated barely describes their behavior!

They must be taking online classes from our teachers.

Southern and Eastern Ukraine are more sympathetic to Russia while West Ukraine is more anti-Russian (big generalization, I know).

What areas of Ukraine are getting bombed right now? South/East Ukraine.

What area of Ukraine is virtually untouched by the war: West Ukraine.

What irony.

From the Ukraine Ministry of Defense (as of 3/1/22)
Russia’s Losses:

5,710 troops
29 planes
29 choppers
198 tanks
846 armored personnel carriers
25 mobile rocket launchers
77 artillery pieces
2 boats
305 cars
60 fuel tankers
3 UAV’s
7 mobile anti aircraft systems

From other reports the Russians are out of food and running low of fuel, having mass desertions and their communications lines have been severed.

It’s possible this war could be over by mid week.

If those numbers are even half correct, devastation for Russia. All in less than a week.

Also, fresh weapon supplies have started reaching Kyiv.

Yep, over in a week, Ukraine will accept Russia's terms.

Tolstoy had in right when he said in “War & Peace’’ that “War is an excuse for men to wander around’’.

My oldest brother was in the Marine Corps in the mid ‘70’s and trained as an artillery officer.

He said the 105’s they fired had manufacturing dates from 1939 stamped on them.

Was it true that when the USS Missouri was recommissioned for the Gulf war that the 16” shells were vintage WWII? Thought I had read that somewhere.

I wouldn't be surprised. I was never in the military but I'm not unfamiliar with weaponry. I'm not sure if the shells were that old but what I would wonder about would be the condition of the powder bags to hurl the things. I also read once that for some reason video of 16 inch shells impacting a target are classified. Don't know if that's true or not.

Russia having trouble to sell its oil.

“Traders are offering Urals at massive discounts of around $15 a barrel below the price of Brent—and even then not finding buyers”

“Valero Energy Corp. VLO -3.28% , a Texas-based refining company, has suspended all future purchases of Russian oil, people familiar with the decision said.”

LOL.
“The Germans are eating their dead”!
Not even in the battle of Stalingrad there was such a rate of attrition.
Can you imagine 198 tanks and 846 APCs at once? How did they destroy all of this?

I know. I’m wary of any government agency that has the word “ministry” as part of its name.

I have no doubt that if we got into a REAL war, you know, like .. hand to hand combat type war. Most of the trans, girl, and homo soldiers would desert or be kicked out for being useless and risking real soldiers lives.

This crap stipulated in the headline is another stupid attempt by the “intelligence community” to convince the Ukrainian leadership that they are going to win, to dissuade them from constructive talks.

“80,000 Ukrainians came back from abroad since Russia invaded further.

According to the Interior Ministry, which cites the State Border Guard Service, the vast majority of these citizens were men who joined the ranks of the Armed Forces and other military formations.”
