This started with a good natured joke about turning the word Bible into an acronym.
The last time I heard that joke it was uttered by Kent Hovind.
Playing lawyer and quibbling about the precise accuracy of the joke is not very Christian, it’s more like the Pharisees, especially when you start hurling insults like “dime store shuckster clergyman” or implied insults like “Better to remain silent” which invokes the old saying “Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt”.
Because the Pharisees always said this:God's Word is about the Logos the Christ the anointed One of God and His redemptive work.
