I am not pro war, but if you look at the map you should be able to understand why the west has spent so much money on the Ukraine and see why Russia wants to stop it. Moscow is nearby. Apparently worried about nukes and bio labs on their border. But it also a chance to take advantage of the petro war thanks to ol sleepy Joe. Europe and even the US gets oil from Russia, Europe gets most it and it passes thru Ukraine. BTW, those brown countries are still kinda under the boot of Russia, just say'n.

Today Ukraine is egging it on, wanting to ne accepted into EU. I read he applied for NATO membership too, but I don’t know if that’s true, can’t believe anything these days.

I don’t know if this is another reason but the Ukraine is also the breadbasket of the former USSR. Kind of like how California and the Midwest are for us.
