School vouchers would certainly help and I know homeschooling has exploded in the US.
Government schools have been failing our children for decades, time to put the nail in the coffin and get rid of the Dept. of Education and return education back into the hands of local school boards.

Get rid of the NEA. Back to the states, which means back to locals. Offer union and non-union schools. Vouchers brings back competition, which we normally love when it comes to restaurants, groceries, housing, etc. Same principles when it comes to education.
