The cabinets are already white. Or one of the 10,000 shades of white. I’m just getting new doors. The cabinets themselves are real wood and are in good shape.
LOL. I need to go see more granite tomorrow. I think maybe the granite people have so much business they don’t have to pretend to be polite. The one that had the typhoon bordeaux that was super pretty - I asked for a quote on a backsplash just on one wall. The lady argued with me how much work it was to do, etc. Finally she agreed to do it and email me the quote. And I got the same thing as before - either backsplash everywhere or none at all. She knew what I wanted but didn’t want to expend any energy, apparently.
So I called the place with my 2nd choice. I asked that the slab be cut so that the redder sections are near the stove. No, they can’t do that. If they can use remnants on the smaller counters (the ones on either side of the stove), then they will. This lady was very obnoxious. I pointed out that I’m paying them, yet they get to decide how my kitchen is going to look? The last place would at least let me choose what parts of the slab go where. As long as I don’t try to do a backsplash. LOL. You can’t have everything in life.
So I’m going to 3 more places tomorrow. I’m finding there are granite places all over. So I’ll see what I can’t have at the other places and then decide what I can live without.

Yes, really helped not being anxious. I had to take one pain pill my regular doctor had given me while I was waiting for codeine, went to sleep nd don’t need another yet. I feel very rested getting so much sleep but I wouldn’t recommend the method, lol.
He’ll probably be fine tomorrow.
I’m feeling well rested with all this sleep. I had a bunch of canned soup, ice cream ad cheesecake to eat, but I ate a while cheeseball and frozen orange aide instead. I made some cloves mouthwash to use, and salt water.

Haha reading about your granite adventures sure brought back memories. I guess business must be booming for these granite dealers - there’s no way we would have argued with anyone about how much backsplash they can or cannot have lol. If the customer is paying for the granite, we let them have certain areas of the granite in certain places....no big deal. If it didn’t use the slab as efficiently as possible and we had to cut into another slab, the customer paid for it so no big deal.

I had my eyes shut, and the dentist asked if I wanted to see the suture he was going to put in. I nodded no and he chuckled.
I remember mom had to do that, with a litter of our dog’s pups. She wasn’t real excited about having to, but…it had to be done.
Pup ended up being one of the strongest ones of the litter.
Do you have to go back for suture removal, or, will it desolve?
Hope it heals, quick and as painless as possible.
