Agreed. And Trump was starting to expose it. He was shining a spotlight on its failures. IMO, that is the real reason for the riots of 2020. Democrat/Leftists/Communists were losing the grip on the black vote and had to exaggerate white cop on black crime. That is an angle I had not previously considered. I thought they were revving up Black hatred simply to help them in the election, but it very well may have also been the consequence of them seeing the black vote slipping away from them.

For all of Trump's faults, he was asking the right questions and the bureaucracies hated him for it. Europe, NATO, The US government and all of its agencies felt threatened. This is also why some RINOs disliked him too. He was fighting “the system.”
Trump wasn't a politician in the traditional sense. And he didn't need to be president or be part of the system.
