We cannot express how grateful we are for your warm messages, your wonderful comments, and your posts of support for us, Ukraine, and especially Serge, his family, and friends.
You have submitted hundreds of posts to our page that we would love to put up but we simply can’t. We want to make sure that everyone who visits our pages sees our statement of support first.
We ask that you use OUR post to leave your comments so we all can see and appreciate them in one place. As always, when we have information for you we will post it on both pages so please share with your family and friends and pray for peace during this distressing time.

I was going to try and explain but then I remembered to whom I was addressing this and I realized you didn’t really care.
Thanks for posting this. With everything going on, it slipped my mind that this great group is in Ukraine.
Great amazing Ukrainian and Russian “cover band” that tours in these USA. I have been semi-obsessed with them since I discovered them. The do NOT only perform “Chicago” covers although they started with that and a lot of their content is Chicago covers.
I have been worried about them. Sounds like the go between Kyiv and Moscow a lot.
Prayers for them — and all caught up in this BS that would maybe have been averted if we could get rid of the communists here.
Best cover performance ever, saw them live last December. Lead guitar sounded like Terry Kath but looked like an Olympic bodybuilder. I hope he’s giving Putin hell.

I just watched one of their youtube videos. Amazingly tight horn section and lovely “chick singer” helping out the main male singer. Very tight group!
She is one of those women whom are stunningly gorgeous, yet don’t show it off.
The Best cover band ever. They lay Chicago better than Chicago and they all live all over Russia including Ukraine.
Leonid and Friends is a Russian band with one Ukrainian member.
For someone who spends as much time on FR as you do I’m surprised you haven’t seen the many threads about them.
Their friends (fans) are concerned about Serge, the lead singer who is in Kiev

She is amazing. I think she won or at least was very high placing in the Russian version of “The Voice.” It is hard to see how she is not one of the most famous female singers in the world. She views music as her job which she is glad and privileged to do, and seems happy doing mostly backup with this group.
It’s amazing how well all the singers in Leonid and Friends do with singing English, some can barely speak it.

Today we all are devastated by the news coming from Ukraine.
Since the very beginning of “Leonid & Friends,” our sole purpose was to bring Unity and Peace through Music. We work diligently to set an example to others, and be ambassadors of real people from the other side of the world with the same core values and love for music.
But now we are all affected by the decisions of those in power and no one is immune to what is happening. Leonid & Friends has always been a family, unified by our passion for music. We are all standing with Serge and his family in Ukraine, staying in touch with him and praying for their safety as well as for all of fellow Ukrainians.
We are vehemently against all wars. We want those in power to communicate with one another, and resolve to find solutions that do not harm or endanger lives of civil people. We are going to focus on what we can do to help and support Serge at this time. Your love and support is needed more than ever. We still believe that all together we can make a difference. Pray for Peace. Unity through Music. 🙏❤️🙏
Never heard of them or her, but I am proud of myself that I saw one album name, Криптонит and was able to sound it out myself to realize that it reads Kryptonite.
