The problem with Trump isn't that he gets intimidated - it's that he's excessively thin-skinned and so gets too easily baited by attacks.

DeSantis has deflected the arrows and fired them right back. The difference is - unlike Trump - he doesn’t respond to taunts from every overgrown child in Hollywood. I prefer Trump to deSantis the military lawyer, but I won’t miss the pointless tweets that are a waste of time and gives the press the opportunity to portray him as every bit the petulant children they are. There is a segment of people who literally did not vote for Trump because of mean tweets. Is there a group of people who expressly support him because of those tweets? Why repel potential supporters for a few hits of social media-induced dopamine?
