What I would give for a transcript.
On the battlefield? One might ask whether the limitation might be the continued availability/longevity of trained Javelin operators.
Of course we could just send trained American specialists over as mercenaries. What could go wrong... /s
i’m sure that most of the 1 hour training is just common sense... it’s probably about the same length as the training on how to dig a foxhole...
how to use your javelin anti-tank rocket
by us army
1. make certain fresh batteries are installed in the unit.
2. load unit with rocket.
3. turn on unit.
4. put unit on your shoulder. find enemy target, look through scope. using scope, point unit towards enemy target.
5. select delivery mode using the delivery mode dial.
6. select tracking mode using the tracking mode dial.
7. make certain that no one is standing behind you.
8. make sure you have a clear exit path and prepare to use it quickly once you launch rocket.
9. brace for rocket launch, and launch rocket by pushing the launch rocket button.
10. turn off unit. (important!) leave area immediately before enemy tracks your launch location, to minimize chance of a successful enemy counterattack against you.
Simple enough that maybe even I could do it. :)
