Yes. Navy. Subs. And we had the Soviets dead to rights. But that is different from fighting on the border of Russia in a place where our sea access is easily closed off. And there is a lot on the nuclear front that has changed since those days.

I am not a defeatist. But geography matters. A lot. Also, I am much more concerned about the defense of Taiwan where we have much more critical interests.
