Interesting Max, thanks for bringing me up to speed.
Can you tell me if any of these 80% have publicly condemned Baldwin to MSM reporters or media?
And on the other hand have any of these 80% made remarks condemning the NRA, George Zimmerman, Kyle Rittenhouse, Kim Potter, or American Hunters?
Which way is the silence deafening?
Baldwin never checked the rounds which he was supposed to do, and he broke 16 other safety rules as well before he pulled the trigger which resulted in a woman being killed. The armor or isn’t the only one that is supposed to check the rounds, because with firearms there are no-dovers if something goes wrong. Baldwin was the director, and one of the safety violations he committed was not getting the crew behind safety glass for the rehearsal. another major violation was that he was never supposed to point the gun at anyone. He screwed up big time all the way through the scene. He refused to take safety lesson on how to cross draw before the scene as well. There were screwups, all, around, but hemultimately, was the one that didn’t check the gun and just pulled the trigger. Noone else pulled that trigger.
If two people enter an abandoned building, and find a gun, and one picks it up and starts waving it or pointing it at the power person,,and the gun goes off, the person pulling the trigger is responsible. And if the other person tell.s the gun holder to check, and he doesn’t, then reminds the person it is never good to point a gun at anyone especially if you don’t know it’s loaded or not, and If the soon to be victim auggests that the gun holder should, take safety lessons first before waving a gun around, and the person refuses, and points,it cirectly at the victim and pulls th3 trigger, the the majority of blame falls on the person who carelessly fired a gun without knowing if it had rounds in it or not.
The owner of,the gun shares some blame, but that gun was not hurting anyone until a buffoon picked it up, pointed it at someone, and pulled the trtrigger. The owner would be guilty of negligence, but the shooter is guilty of negligent homicide at least
That is what balwin did essentially- broke nearly every rule in his arrogance, and someone paid the price for it, and sadly he won’t even take responsiblity for what he did
He didn’t pick it up, it was handed to him(if the story I read is in fact accurate). It’s a movie set, not two retards in an abandoned building. Gun “rules” are not laws.
The simple truth is that if you are in possession of a deadly weapon, you own everything that is associated with the operation of that weapon. Period.
Agreed.
It sounds like this movie project was on a real shoestring budget and they were cutting corners all over the place just to keep it going.
Firearm safety is the last place for that.
There’s a reason people were quitting and walking off the set.
Negligence is law related- that the point of the previous postthe fella
Pojnting the gun, AND baldwin committed negligent homicide- doesnt matter if he picked the gun up,or was handed the gun, he still had a duty to check the gun. Everyonemthat handles a gun has thag responsibility, and can be charged for at least negligent homicide if they fail to do sohe handled it in an unsafe mannerevery gun is to,be handled as though it is loaded- efen prop guns capable of firing both blanks and live rounds, especially prop guns thst can do both- baldwin proves why that is so important.
He doesn’t get away with claiming he isn’t responsible because he was handed the gun.. he is directly responsb8le for not knowing the condition of the gun personally and pulling the trigger, as all as responsible.for awhile slew of other violations that resulted in the death of a person.
Exactly. It is a huge responsibility, and baldwin failed miserably, and someone paid for his negligence with their life. Others can share in thr blame for,a chain of events that led to the tragedy, but ultimately it comes down to the person handling the gun irresponsibly if someone gets shot, epsecislly,if,they violated 17different safety violations- doing so shows gross neglect on the shooter’s part, and likely, shows even worse, maybe even depreaved indifference
Possibly.
