Well probably not to you, because it doesn't support what you wish to believe. Indeed, it mocks your thinking regarding what was done to the Southern states.
It puts you on the horns of a dilemma in which you have to condemn One tyrant for invading another country that wanted independence, while defending another tyrant that invaded another country that wanted independence.
And it does this in a way that makes the dichotomy amusing to people who don't have to defend it.
