I was scheduled to fly home on 9/11.

Drove home instead.

Drove a long ways and didn’t see any panic.

Got to my hometown and got in my car.

Fuel was low, so I thought I’d fill up.

Gas stations were closed.

Found one out of town.

Guy was there with a 55 gallon barrel filling it up with gas.

I went in to pay for my gas.

I was in my BDUs.

I asked everyone in the store if the terrorists had attacked any gas stations.

They stood there looking at the floor.

Sheep.

If you are living so close to the edge with your finances that a fifty cent a gallon increase in gas prices will destroy you, then you need to review your life.

Someone, made the suggestion make sure your vehicle remotes are inside, ours are in a safe spot inside.

If every neighbor uses one or more remotes with the alarm button pushed, that will alert the neighbors and tell the bad guys we are ready.
