While I enjoyed Jack, he was insane.

Calories in v out matters most, I like to enjoy life as well.
I eat “paleo” 5 or 6 days a week. I have potatoes or whatever I want every once in a while. I’m in better shape than most 20 year olds, and have what is deemed an excellent blood profile.

I’m a fan of applying systems thinking and the Pareto Principle to life’s endeavors.

Agreed, you can’t stop living.

All kidding aside in 2016 after several episodes of chest tightness I saw a cardiologist. The day after that lead to a heart cath, angioplasty and stent for a 90% blocked LAD artery (aka the widow maker).

For anyone who hasn’t experienced it, that will get your attention on several levels, two being diet and exercise.

It’s also an experience that I would certainly NOT want to repeat.

Red meat and pork are rare but a couple three times a year is acceptable.

Sugar and salt are minimal.

Because of that issue I will have a relationship with a cardiologist for the rest of my life.

I also get the privilege of doing treadmill stress test every 24 months.... that I hate like poison.

I just pay more attention to what food and drink I intake more than I used to and it seems to be working out.

I’ll probly get hit by a bus tomorrow. Lol!
