There used to be some nominally pro-life Democrats in the House. Remember Bart Stupak and his group that made a deal with Obama to get Obamacare passed? He was later betrayed, of course.
Damn Tulsi Gabbard all you like, but she is STILL one of the most rational persons who identify as Democrat. Which is not saying a whole lot for Democrats (or more specifically, Democrat Socialists), but they have become who they are, not as a full-blown ideology overnight, but as a gradual thing, much like the Fabian Society, which kept slipping incremental changes, until the old meaning of “liberal” was lost forever.
Look up the Fabian Society. George Bernard Shaw was a leading member.
