I don’t think so, Europe and Germany in particular would be foolish to reject any amount of fuel they can get from Russia as the US has failed a few too many times to come through on their promises.

Germany has already, at least for now, quashed finishing up Nordstream 2.

Beyond that, it would not be that the Euro’s dependent on current Russian gas deliveries would reject it, it’s much more likely Russia would use that gas as leverage.

Of course that is dicey for Putin in the long run: It might finally sink into some thick skulls that depending on Russia is a fools game.
