Most people today do not know the Japanese war against the USA, begun at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, originated with America’s harsh trade actions against Japan. In the latter half of 1940, President Franklin Roosevelt banned the export of oil and metal products to Japan. A little over one year later, Japan attacked the USA at Pearl Harbor.
Also, the seeds of Germany’s aggressive rise to brutal conquest of Europe, during World War II, came from the harshness of allied economic treatment of Germany following World War I.
Graham’s idea of trying to destroy Russia’s trade is a great way to trigger a war.
